They also host special events, such as book clubs for adults and storytimes for kids. Locals call this place "charming," "full of spirit and character," and "a treasure trove of books."
Golden Fig Books, located in nearby Durham, focuses heavily on used books. However, they try to highlight diverse and local authors by displaying new books. Golden Fig came onto the scene in February 2019. The store's owner, David Bradley, is an alumnus of UNC Chapel Hill.
The Regulator Bookshop loves to support the learning process. Students and teachers get a 10-percent discount.
